The following control characters are recognized for display by the LCD:
Bell, Back space, Tab, Line feed, Form feed, Carriage return, Escape
and Delete.
The 4 push button switches send ASCII characters 1 through 4 when pressed.
The keyboard also allows setting special operating modes of the unit.
The release of any key can also send an ASCII Nul character (hex
00).
Optional power on beep.
Ten possible display sizes:
8+8 x 1, 16 x 1, 16 x 2, 16 x 4, 20 x 1, 20 x 2, 24 x 1, 24 x 2, 40
x 1 and 40 x 2
.Four cursor types.
Select one of 4 Baud rates from 1200 Baud through 9600 Baud.
Programmable Font commands.
Uses PIC16C84 microcontroller with internal EEPROM for setup storage
